  • 3 eggs
  • 200 g of sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 170 g wheat flour
  • 80 ml of sunflower oil
  • 1 pack of yeast (10 g)
  • 1 large organic orange (50 g)

Filling and chocolate ganache

  • 2 tablespoons butter (30 g)
  • 2 chocolate bars (200 g)
  • 3 teaspoons of honey (30 g)
  • 200 ml low-fat cream

preparation

  • First, wash the orange and cut it into pieces without removing the peel. The sweeter the orange, the better the cake tastes.
  • Puree the orange and add the eggs, sugar, and sunflower oil. Mix everything well until you get an even mixture.
  • Then stir in wheat flour, yeast and salt and mix everything well.
  • Butter your cake pan, then add the batter. Bake at 180 ° C for 35 minutes. If you wish, you can slightly increase the temperature in the last few minutes to toast the surface of the cake. 

Preparation of the chocolate ganache

  • Heat the cream, honey and butter.
  • Add the chocolate in small pieces. Stir the mixture until the chocolate has melted and all of the ingredients are well mixed.
  • Use this mixture as a filling and glaze.

  • 1 medium-sized egg
  • 50 ml of milk
  • 75 g butter
  • 50 ml orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 100 g of wheat flour
  • 1 pinch of baking powder

preparation

  • Beat the butter and sugar until frothy.
  • Then add the eggs and stir everything well.
  • Stir in the wheat flour and baking powder and mix everything well.
  • Divide the dough into two equal amounts.
  • Add the orange juice to one part, the milk and cocoa powder to the other. Mix well.

  • 6 medium-sized eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 150 g butter
  • 500 g of wheat flour
  • 10 g baking powder
  • 200 ml orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • 130 g baking chocolate

  • Melt the baking chocolate and set it aside.
  • In a bowl, beat the butter and sugar until frothy.
  • Add the eggs and stir well.
  • Sift wheat flour and baking powder into the batter and alternately add the orange mixture.
  • Add orange zest and vanilla. Mix well until you get an even batter.
  • Set aside about 200 g of batter and mix this with the melted chocolate.
